League Rules:

Under 15 Match Rules

a Any person under the age of 15 on the 31st August of the year preceding the season shall be eligible.

b Games shall be played on a Sunday morning with a 10am start, where ever possible.

c A minimum of 20 overs per side to be played in all league games (maximum 25) which shall be agreed between the club representatives before the game.

d No more than four overs per bowler.

e On scoring 50, a batsman will retire and not return to the wicket. In the Cup Final, where there are 40 overs per side played, a batsman scoring 100 shall retire and not return to the wicket.

f No fielder, except the wicket keeper, is to field nearer than 8 yards, measured from the middle stump, except behind the wicket on the off side, until the batsman has played the ball. If a fielder comes within this distance, the umpire must stop the game and instruct the fielder to move back.

g The game shall be played on a pitch of 22 yards. Artificial pitches are acceptable.

h Full size wickets to be used.

i Six ball overs.

j Regulation size ball.

k Six hits are allowed.

l Suitable tackle to be provided by the home team, if necessary.

m Coaching on the field of play shall only be permitted at the end of an over.

n A player may not take part in a game at which he has not appeared by the time half the number of agreed overs has been bowled in the first innings. This rule does not affect the law relating to substitute fielders.
