1 The object of the league shall be to foster Junior Cricket and sportsmanship. To promote and encourage the game of cricket among young people. To bridge the gap between School and Senior League Cricket and ensure a steady flow of promising talent to senior clubs.

All clubs shall adhere to the ECB Child Welfare Policy.
3 The League shall be governed by a committee comprised of the President, Vice President, Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer. (hereinafter called the official) plus one representative from each club.A ll League Officials, with the exception of the Vice Presidents, are to be elected annually, at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Nominations for these officials must be handed to the League Secretary, 10 days prior to the AGM, when voting, if required, shall take place. The officials have the power to co-opt a maximum of two persons, if they so wish, whom they consider would enhance the Executive Committee.
4 The Executive Committee shall also be appointed at the AGM. This shall consist of the officials and a maximum of 7 club representatives and two umpires. All representatives are entitled to be nominated for the Committee. Nominations must be handed to the League Secretary 10 days prior to the AGM.

The Executive Committee shall deal with all financial and urgent matters and prepare the business to be dealt with at the League Executive Meetings. They will also deal with any business delegated to it by the League Committee.

The Executive Committee shall appoint, annually, a League Coaching Officer, who will sit on the Executive Committee, in addition to the 7 elected members.
7 a: Any player under the age of 17 on the 31st August of the year proceeding the season in question shall be eligible. Registration sheets must be received by the respective results secretary before the first fixture date in each section, giving the name and date of birth of all intended players.
b: If a player is eligible to play in more than one section, their details must appear on all relevant registration sheets. If a registration is not received from a club before the first game of the season, any player from that club shall be deemed unregistered, until the registration sheet has been received.
c: Any club fielding an unregistered player shall be fined £5 for the respective team and no points shall be awarded to that team for each week of no registration.
d: The list of registered players may be added to, but no player can be registered after the 22nd June without the permission of the executive committee.
e: Any club found guilty of fielding an over-age player shall forfeit any points gained in the games in question.
f: If a player wishes to transfer from one junior club to another during the season, the club desiring the player must make application to the league for permission to transfer. A player shall not be allowed to transfer if he has not fulfilled all financial obligations to his club. No player shall be allowed to transfer after the June 22.
